Join us for an in-depth workshop on the new Disability Inclusion (DI) funding model, for Victorian public schools.
This session is specifically designed for speech pathologists seeking to understand and navigate the new funding system.
This professional learning session will cover:
- What is the Disability Inclusion model? Gain a clear understanding of the framework and its goals.
- Key differences from the previous model: Explore how this approach improves inclusivity and equity for students with and without diagnosed disabilities.
- Types of funding available: Learn about the various funding categories that schools have access to and their specific purposes.
- Eligibility criteria: Understand who qualifies and the essential requirements for accessing funding.
- Funding pathways: Review the processes for applying and obtaining funding support.
- The role of Speech Pathologists: Discover how speech pathologists can assist their clients and schools through the new application process.
- Reporting and documentation: Access resources and tips for preparing effective reports and documents
Duration: 2 hours with time allocated for questions
This workshop is hosted live on Zoom and will be recorded. Recording access will be available for 2 weeks post-event and will be sent to all participants.
