Directing for Indie Theatre: Working with Actors
Event description
Multi-award winning director Elise Wilson is returning to Boorloo/Perth with a new workshop series, Directing for Indie Theatre, with this one being Working with Actors.
This workshop is both for emerging directors, as well as indie artists in other roles (actors, writers, designers etc.) who want hands on directing experience before jumping into their first official directing role.
There will be an emphasis on both the analytical and practical sides of directing. Participants will have the chance to practise rehearsing and auditioning professional actors Isaac Diamond and Alicia Osyka.
The workshop is $49, however there is a flexible pricing option if this is a financial barrier. Please bring something to take notes with, a water bottle and snacks if you want. If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with the "contact host" button so we can plan the exercises to accommodate your needs
