Event description

This training session equips participants with an understanding of accessibility and inclusion in the workplace and learning environment. Building capacity to support and promote the inclusion of people with disability within the University environment will ensure that you can attract and retain from the entire student pool and create a learning environment that is representative of the broader community. This training assists staff to identify ways to develop an inclusive and accessible environment for individuals including, students, employees and stakeholders through discussion, group activities, scenarios and video.

This session is targeted at professional and academic staff who have student-facing support roles. If this does not describe you, please consider registering for Disability Confident Communications on Tuesday 26 October or Friday 29 October.

Training is provided by the Australian Network on Disability, of which UNSW is a member.
