For any public transport services, you can head to the Transport NSW Trip Planner to plan your trip. - Train: Town Hall Station is located directly underneath the venue, with accessible lifts to George & Druitt Street. - Light Rail: Town Hall stop on George Street is located directly in front of Sydney Town Hall. - Bus: Multiple services stop nearby. - Parking: Closest car park to Sydney Town Hall is Wilson's St Andrews House located at 464 Kent Street. Entry instructions
Level access entry to Sydney Town Hall is available from Druitt Street. This is the Lower Town Hall entrance. There is directional signage located around the building and our Disability Tech Summit way-finding team will be around the venue to guide you to the accessible entrance.
After entry instructions
Once you enter Sydney Town Hall at the Lower Town Hall level access entrance, you will be guided to the lift to take you to Level 1 where the Disability Tech Summit will be taking place.
Toilet location
Accessible and ambulant toilets are available on both the Lower Ground Floor (via the lower north corridor) and Ground Floor (near Breakout Room 2, Summit Hall, and Backstage area).
Accessible parking
The closest car park to Sydney Town Hall is Wilson's St Andrews House - Town Hall Car Park. Address is 464 Kent Street. Mobility parking spaces are available. Parking tends to fill up fast, arriving early will increase your chances of securing an accessible spot. Lowest rates available when you pre-book your parking on the Wilson Parking website.
Quiet Space
As part of the event, we’ll provide a quiet space for guests to use if they need a break at any time during the day. The room will have low lighting, soft seating, and items like noise-cancelling headphones, fidget toys, and drinking water.
Live Captioning
Live captioning will be provided by Sunflower AI for all the main Summit sessions.
Auslan Interpretation
Auslan interpretation will be provided by Sweeney Interpreting and available across the main Summit sessions.
Program Breaks
The Summit program sessions run from 8:45am to 5:30pm, followed by evening celebrations until 8:00pm. Throughout the day there will be three planned breaks — one in the morning, one at lunch, and one in the afternoon. You can also take a break whenever you need to, and you’re welcome to use the quiet space at any time.

The guide is designed to help everyone prepare ahead of the Disability Tech Summit and feel confident navigating throughout the venue. Assistive listening system (hearing loops)
Sydney Town Hall is equipped with a hearing loop system available in Summit Hall (Centennial Hall), Breakout Room 1 (Marconi Room), Breakout Room 2 (Southern Function Room) and Startup Alley (Vestibule).
Accessibility Information Desks
Accessibility Information Desks will be available on the Lower Ground Floor and the Ground Floor. Both desks will be clearly marked with signage and staffed by designated volunteers who can assist guests with any accessibility-related questions or needs.
Assistance Animal Relief Area
An Assistance Animal Relief Area will be available outside the main entrance, designated for animals to toilet and take short breaks. If guests require a safe or quiet indoor space for their assistance animal to rest or access water, event staff will be available to help arrange a suitable area.
