Discover Anstey Keane Dampland
Description
Anstey-Keane Dampland is a rare and fragile nature reserve in Forrestdale. A 308 hectare oasis of heathland, wetland and Banksia woodland surrounded by roads, housing and industry. This unique wetland and bushland reserve contains a diversity of vegetation communities and habitats, rich with colourful floral displays and wildlife.
Join us on a guided walk with local conservation legend David James, who has been exploring and looking after the bushland in Forrestdale since he was a child. David has a lifetime of experience and stories to share about Anstey-Keane Dampland and surrounding ecosystems.
Gumboots are recommended, it will be wet and muddy in places.
Park on verge of Anstey Rd, or MacFarlane Rd in Forrestdale.
