Description

Anstey-Keane Dampland is a rare and fragile nature reserve in Forrestdale. A 308 hectare oasis of heathland, wetland and Banksia woodland surrounded by roads, housing and industry. This unique wetland and bushland reserve contains a diversity of vegetation communities and habitats, rich with colourful floral displays and wildlife.

Join us on a guided walk with local conservation legend David James, who has been exploring and looking after the bushland in Forrestdale since he was a child. David has a lifetime of experience and stories to share about Anstey-Keane Dampland and surrounding ecosystems.

Gumboots are recommended, it will be wet and muddy in places.

Park on verge of Anstey Rd, or MacFarlane Rd in Forrestdale.

This event is organised by the Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group as part of our Learning Landcare series of education events.
