Nurture your child's curious mind, book a place at a series of interactive workshops.

In Discover sharks, children explore the Anatomy and physiology of our toothy friends and learn to label a shark anatomy. We also learn to draw Frank the shark.

Join our scientists as we explore the incredible world of sharks and rays (elasmobranchs). Learn about the anatomy and physiology of sharks and stingrays. Explore the evolution of elasmobranchs and discover some fascinating elasmobranch species. We will take a look at the role elasmobranchs play within ecosystems and raise our awareness of some of the threats they currently face.

This workshop is designed for primary school-aged children 6-10 years of age. This workshop features our 1.2m shark anatomy and our shark teeth and egg collection.

Dates & times:
Monday 4 July 2022 – 11am, 12pm, and 1pm
Tuesday 5 July 2022 – 11am, 12pm, and 1pm
Wednesday 6 July 2022 - 11am, 12pm, and 1pm
Thursday 7 July 2022 - 11am, 12pm, and 1pm
Friday 8 July 2022  - 11am, 12pm, and 1pm

Cost: $5 for Westfield Plus Members. One ticket per child.

*Bookings are essential. There are 15 bookings available per session. Each session runs for 45 minutes. Children must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times.

T&C’s
The above workshops are designed for school aged children, aged 7 years and above. Whilst younger children are welcome to attend, they may not be able to complete the workshop activities.
