Discover the trees of Hazelwood Park
Event description
Visit trees that existed before Adelaide. Discover wildlife apartments and the wood-wide-web. Consider how the landscape has changed over time in Hazelwood Park Reserve. Join a guided walk to discuss the history of the park and the environmental, cultural and economic significance of the park's trees.
We will walk around the park, stopping at selected trees. The content is most suitable for adults and older children. The walk will not be difficult, but we won't be sticking to paths and the ground may be undulating in places.
Meet by the front doors of the George Bolton Swimming Centre (within Hazelwood Park Reserve). There is parking nearby on Howard Terrace. Booking is essential, but there is no need to print your ticket.
