Meet Your Facilitators

  • Niya Pearl –  Niya is a qualified yoga instructor who specialises in teaching Hatha, Chair, Aqua, and Kids Yoga, as well as Yoga Nidra and guided meditation. She is currently advancing her training to a 500-hour qualification, driven by a passion for sharing yoga’s transformative benefits with people of all ages and abilities.

    With a background in Education and over a decade in community learning and events, Niya specialises in creating inclusive, engaging spaces that foster connection and growth.

    Living near the beautiful Murray River, Niya feels deeply connected to nature, seeing it as a source of grounding and inspiration. This connection shapes her yoga teaching, which aligns with the holistic principles of mind, body, and soul harmony found in yogic philosophy.

    Niya also has a strong interest in natural health and wellness, bringing a warm and supportive approach to her classes. She invites you to join her on the mat and discover how yoga can enrich your life.

  • Patriz Kerkenaar –Patriz has studied African drumming and Afro Latino drumming for the past 15 years with master instructors in Australia, Ghana and Indonesia. She has been employed in SA schools to teach drumming and dance to students and facilitate staff retreats, adult team building, and corporate events.  Patriz is also a Visual Arts Teacher with a Masters Degree in Education. She will be guiding us through mindfulness in Art. Patriz has travelled extensively and performed as guest artist with various international artists in Ghana and Indonesia. She brings her vibrant energy to reconnect us all to our wild woman and man within.
  • Deb Roberts- Owner and operator of Natural Flow, Body, Mind, Soul, Deb Roberts brings a vast background in fitness and wellness to her work as a qualified sound healer, hypnotherapist, yoga instructor, and holistic counsellor. Deb’s unique approach to energy healing incorporates intuitive practices alongside instruments like chimes and singing bowls, creating a deeply restorative experience. Her sessions include energy clearing, leaving you feeling emotionally balanced and aligned. Deb works with individual clients, classes, and workshops, focusing on releasing stress, gaining clarity, and building self-confidence. She creates a safe space for personal growth and renewal while supporting individuals as they navigate life’s changes, ebbs, and flows.
