    Event description

Australia accounts for just 5% of the world’s land area but 10% of the global diversity in bees with around 2,500 species.

Australian native bees vary greatly in colour, size, sociality, habitat preferences, physical appearance and even behavior.

Australian native bees are unique, and you can find them in farm and garden landscapes….if you know what you are looking for.

Our special guest speakers certainly do! Join us and discover some of Australia’s most intriguing native bees.
