Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Integration Forum

How can we accelerate the connection of DER network connections? How can DER improve the resilience and energy security of urban precincts? Can we capitalise on the co-location of renewable energy with load?

The RACE for 2030 funded Pathways to Net Zero Precincts project and the Curtin Institute for Energy Transition invite you to a half day online forum to discuss the integration of distributed energy resources (DER) into urban precincts.

The online forum will be held on 23 September 2025 from 9am – 1pm (WST).

Join fellow industry leaders for an interactive online workshop to discuss what we have learnt from existing precincts, and how we can work together to create the conditions to accelerate the integration of DER into urban precincts, both on the residential and commercial scale.

The forum is likely to be of interest to urban development professionals, utilities, strata managers, academics, residents, commercial organisations, consumer organisations, industry, policy makers and regulators.
