Diversity Under Threat: Keeping Disability Rights on the National Agenda

Diversity is under threat. Conservative forces are targeting inclusion, equity and accessibility and working to push back the progress of disability rights.  

Join us this Diversity Festival as we make the case for disability rights to be kept on the National Agenda. We gather disability advocates, academics and community leaders who will interrogate the notions of burden, ableism, justice and activism.  

As part of this event, we will be producing a Statement document that calls for greater understanding and support of inclusive research.

The John Niland Scientia Building is located at UNSW Sydney's Kensington Campus (G19 on map). The closest accessible drop off point to the Scientia Building is the east entrance (F22 on map). Vehicles need to arrive via Gate 11 on Botany Street. The closest accessible parking is available in the Botany Street Parking Station (H23 on map).
