    Program Description

    This course will cover not only the basics of discovery but how to use each code authorized method to develop the details that matter to you and ultimately your jury or factfinder. Learn not only what to ask but when and how to ask questions via discovery so as to maximize the results for your clients. Topics will include interrogatories, document requests, request for admissions, and medical examinations.

    About the Speaker

    Since graduating from UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings) in 2012, Brittany Rogers has devoted her career to representing plaintiffs in personal injury, products liability, and medical malpractice cases. She has experience in every aspect of civil litigation, from intake to trial, and has also written appellate briefs. She was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2021-2024 and has received awards from the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association as an Outstanding New Lawyer in 2018 and a Notable Achiever in 2021 for trying a fully virtual jury trial during COVID. In 2017, Ms. Rogers was recognized by The Bar Association of San Francisco's Justice & Diversity Center as an Outstanding Volunteers for her volunteer work including with high school students in San Francisco. While in law school, Ms. Rogers worked with vulnerable populations including victims of domestic violence and homelessness. She continues her devotion to service of others through a career of zealous advocacy on behalf of wrongfully injured persons.
