Event description

Celebrate the Diwali Festival of Lights with Rangoli Sand Art!

On the second day of the Diwali festival, people decorate their homes with clay lamps and create design patterns called rangoli on the floor using coloured powders or sand.

Come along and create your own rangoli sand art to take home!

Suitable for primary school aged children 8 to 12 years old.

Free.

Bookings essential - limited materials.

Three sessions available:

  • Glen Street Library: Monday 13 October, 3.30 - 4.30pm

  • Manly: Wednesday 15 October, 3.30 - 4.30pm

  • Dee Why: Tuesday 21 October, 3.30 - 4.30pm
