✨ UWA Diwali: Festival of Lights ✨

You’re invited to come and celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, for an evening filled with culture, food, music, and community! 🌸🪔✨

🎉 What to expect

  • Light up Ceremony – We will begin the festivities with a light up of Oak Lawn!

  • Free Food – Delicious Diwali food for all registered attendees.

  • Cultural Performances – Dance, music, and dhol beats to bring the energy!

  • Stalls and Activities – Henna art, clay lamp decoration, and a themed photo booth.

  • DJ and Dancefloor – Our DJ will keep the music going into the night.

When: Thursday, 16 October 2025
Time: Gates open at 5:30 pm | Event concludes at 9:00pm
Where: Oak Lawn, The University of Western Australia
