DIY Beeswax Cling Wrap Workshop
Event description
Have you always wanted to learn how to make beeswax wraps but felt intimidated by the process? You're in luck! In this free, hands-on workshop, your host will guide you step by step—from choosing the right cloth to melting, dipping, and sealing your own beeswax wrap. You'll walk away with a reusable wrap ready to replace plastic wrap and start your low-waste kitchen journey.
We'll also share simple, practical tips to help reduce waste in your kitchen—like storing food without plastic, using up leftovers creatively, and composting scraps. You'll discover that going low-waste doesn't have to be complicated—just intentional, imperfect, and sustainable. By the end, you’ll feel empowered to take small steps toward a more eco-friendly kitchen—one wrap at a time.
Please note, this is a free workshop but because there are limited spots available, we ask for a $10.00 deposit to confirm your place. We will refund attendees tickets, less the processing fee, the next business day after the workshop. If you cannot make it, you can refund your ticket on Humanitix up to 24 hours before. This way, we can give someone else the opportunity to go instead of you. Note, no shows will not be refunded.
This event is for Waverley Council residents only.
