DIY Bike Repair - Open to all sessions
Description
Our DIY Bike Repair Sessions provide a friendly, hands-on space for you to fix your own bike. We provide tools, guidance, and a supportive environment, and you’ll work on your bike at your own pace with help when you need it - helping build a community of feminist fixers!
These sessions are about sharing skills, building confidence, and keeping bikes rolling.
Who’s it for
Third Saturday of the month: All welcome
If you're looking for the queer only sessions, click here
These sessions work best for people that have a good idea of what they want to do on their bike and how to do it, or who are willing to do a bit of preparation beforehand.
You don’t need to be an expert, but the DIY Bike Repair Session isn’t a beginner’s class - it’s a shared workspace where we help you help yourself. If you’re completely new to bike maintenance, we’re happy to suggest other sessions that might suit you better.
*Dynamo CIC is here to centre the experience of queer people. Any self identifying queers are welcome!
Booking slots
Slots are 2 hours long, which should give you enough time to work on small to medium repairs at your own pace, Slots are capped at 4 people, to ensure everyone has their own workstand and tools.
One of our mechanics will be around to help if you get stuck, need guidance, or want a refresher on how to use a tool. Learning by doing (and with manuals/*videos) is encouraged too.
*If you are planning to use video tutorials please bring headphones, to not disturb others!
