Power & Water Savings Made Easy: Home Energy Audit Demo

Join us for a hands-on demonstration of how to use a Home Energy Auditing Kit to identify energy and water inefficiencies in your home. Perfect for homeowners, renters, and anyone looking to save on bills while making their home more sustainable! 

Led by a qualified Energy Auditor, this workshop will guide you through using tools such as a thermal imaging camera to detect draughts and insulation gaps, a plug-in energy monitor to measure appliance energy use, a basin flow cup to check water efficiency, and a thermometer for monitoring room and appliance temperatures. You'll also learn practical tips for reducing your household energy and water consumption.

The Home Auditing Kits used for this session have been made available as part of the Switch Your Thinking’s Energy Efficiency Pilot Program
City of Bayswater Residents will soon have the opportunity to borrow these from your local library.
