DIY kitchen refurb - two Saturdays, 5 & 12 October

Don’t call the experts; learn to fix leaky pipes, stained grout and broken drawers yourself, and feel empowered!

You'll learn how to:

• Carry out home DIY safely and efficiently
• Use drills and drivers
• Choose and use the right drill bits and fixings for a variety of applications
• Repair or replace hinges and cabinet handles
• Fix drawer rails
• Fix leaking plumbing and replace washers, plugs and waste baskets
• Resurface laminate benchtops and cabinetry - and what can be done to repair other types

We'll cover:

• Prepping your work area
• Common materials found in the kitchen (natural, manufactured and hazardous)
• What to have in your toolbox and how to use each item
• Clean-up and disposal of kitchen materials

Please bring:

• A face mask
• Safety glasses or goggles
• Earmuffs or plugs
• Gloves

Note that PPE can be provided, if needed.
