Djilba: First Spring
Event description
Djilba is a time when a massive explosion of wildflowers occurs throughout our bushland.
Presented by the Armadale branch of the Wildflower Society of Western Australia, this session highlights the variety, uniqueness and beauty of our wonderful flora, with a focus on the wildflowers local to the Armadale district.
The flowering of so many plants throughout the bush were indicators of a special or important resource to the Noongar people. Examples of such plants will be discussed.
Once acquainted with our local wildflowers you will leave enthused to get out and visit a local bushland reserve or two.
This session is for adults.
