Event description

Our first of four guided mountain bike rides this season will be at Spruce Meadows! A gorgeous prairie location with views of Spruce Mountain, Pikes Peak and the Rampart Range, as well as an excellent interconnected trail system, this ride will be 9-15 miles (depending on the group’s preference) and best suited for intermediate riders. Please note the start point is the Spruce Meadows trailhead, not the Spruce Mountain trailhead. More info on the trail and a map can be found here. There may be cattle grazing on the route, and portions of the trail are sandy and could be difficult for skinny tires or tires without much tread. Bring a pump to adjust tire pressure.

DLC bike rides are offered free of charge, but a $10 per person donation is suggested so that we may continue to offer educational outreach events in the community.
