Sandstone Ranch History Hike
Event description
Join us for a 5-6 mile history hike to learn about the cultural and ecological significance of this permanently-conserved property! This is a unique opportunity to see more of the property than the general public is typically allowed, as we'll have Douglas County Naturalist Jackie with us to share her knowledge. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy at the Palm Homestead, and plenty of water!
This hike is part of a collaborative project between Douglas Land Conservancy and Douglas County Libraries to preserve and protect the cultural history of our conserved lands.
DLC hikes are offered free of charge, but a $10 per person donation is suggested so that we may continue to offer educational outreach events in the community.
