DLSSG 2024 Law Ball - A Regency Experience

Dearest Gentle Readers,

The Deakin Law Students' Society Geelong has prepared a most magnificent ball for the Kin.

Be prepared to step back in time and immerse yourself in an evening of elegance, grandeur, and romance at the 2024 Law Ball, in the theme of the Regency era.

Hosted at the opulent GMHBA Stadium, this enchanting event promises a night filled with captivating music, the most divine selection of sweet treats, frills and twirls, a hearty tab for the finest wines and spirits (to keep the spirits high of course), it will be a night where our Society can indulge in the charm of the Regency era.

As you enter the lavishly decorated President's Room, you'll be greeted by the soft glow of candlelight, the gentle strains of a live string quartet, and the subtle fragrance of roses in full bloom. The evening will unfold with a series of delightful activities, including a waltz, if you will, where you can sway beside warmly lit candles, and a lavish banquet, featuring a sumptuous array of Regency-inspired delicacies.

Don your finest attire—ladies in elegant empire-waist gowns, and gentlemen in dashing tailcoats—and prepare to be transported to an era of refined manners and romantic possibilities. This ball is more than a mere gathering—it is a night of romance, wit, and the most delightful conversation, where the spirit of the Regency era comes alive in every detail.

The season's Diamond shall be selected on the evening, and the most sought-after bachelor and bachelorette shall be awarded a most munificent reward. Join us for a night of timeless beauty and sophistication, where every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create an evening of pure enchantment.
