Gretel Killeen is a best-selling author, award-winning comedy writer and host of award-winning TV. She’s written plays, speeches, live TV shows, documentaries (and some pretty bad poems) and performed on stage, film, radio and TV as a comedian, actress and voice artist. She’s written for many of Australia’s leading publications as a journalist and humorist, and regularly appears on TV and radio as a social/political commentator.
This workshop is being held in conjunction with the Booranga Writers Centre. As an action oriented workshop Gretel is requesting attendees to submit 500 words on the topic Why I Write - this can be in any form, poem, essay, fantasy, dialogue, you name it.1 submission per attendee submitted via email as a PDF document. Please include your name on the document.Â
