Supporting Zaidee’s Farm Visit Program

We are all asked to do so many things in life when supporting charities?

Run, Walk, Ride a Bike, Swim, Hike, Push Ups, Sit-Ups and the list goes on, and please don’t stop doing these great things for charity.

BUT - wouldn't it be nice just to do nothing and still support a great cause, especially for those who cannot ride a bike, swim, run or do push ups?

That’s right, Zaidee’s is launching the “Do Nothing Event” for the month of September.

Our aim is to cover the cost of a animal farm visit for children and their families who are either going through the journey of transplantation for an organ or tissue or have had a transplant. Or are a donor family, who has given the greatest gift of all as the result of their loved one’s organ or tissue donation, to attend an animal farm visit and enjoy a day out of their busy life.

An event that simply asks you to do nothing, don’t go anywhere, don't get dressed in sports clothes, don’t even leave your home, be it night or day, whilst raising much needed funds for Zaidee’s Farm Visit program for just doing nothing. You may even want to have a “Do Nothing Party” via social media or at your home if allowed. Yep invite people around to Do Nothing with you.

This year’s inaugural event will be held over the whole month of September 2021.

Reason is most of the country is currently locked down, so this is the ideal event for you to support.

This is a free event, but we do ask if you feel like donating and raising funds or even asking your family and friends to sponsor you for doing nothing, that will be an added benefit. Aim to support this event for one hour, six hours, the whole day, a week or the whole month by just doing nothing.

You may be doing nothing to support this event, but as a result we are able to get children and their families doing something from the funds raised and sending them for a farm visit.

Zaidee’s Farm Visit Program will cover the full cost to send families to these farm visits run by 5 farms nationally.

Golden Ridge Animal Far - NSW

Hahndorf Farm Barn - South Australia

Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm - Western Australia

White Ridge Farm - Queensland

Will allow donor families, recipient families or those families who are currently going through their transplant journey to spending a few hours on a farm surrounded by horses, lambs, piglets, bunnies which they can feed, brush and possibly ride, if they are able to.
