Hi I'm Suzanne, founder of The Rosa Centre. For the past four years, The Rosa Centre in Kenya has been a safe, powerful space for women and young people to grow their businesses, build confidence, and change their futures. We’ve had our fair share of tough moments, and last week, we were once again hit hard. Vandals tore down our toilet walls, stealing the iron sheets and leaving the space unsafe and unusable. This is more than damage - it’s disruption to the daily dignity, health, and security of our community. The short video you’ll see is narrated by our Co-Director Andrew, (translating Swahili to English). He’s sharing the reality from the ground, the progress we’ve made, and the urgent need we now face, in conjunction with two of our members, Gertrude and Jon. We’re asking for your help to rebuild. Every contribution will go directly toward restoring the Centre, securing the space, and making sure our people don’t lose the ground they’ve worked so hard to gain. We will use the money for new iron sheets, repair the toilets, continue to grow vegetables and money left over will go to rent, and helping the women to restock their business items. 100% goes directly to The Rosa Centre. Let’s stand together. Let’s build it back. With much love and thanks, Suzanne & Andrew
