Do You Know What Your Business Needs to Succeed?

A practical masterclass to help you understand the financial side of running a business: what you need to know, what you need to ask and why it matters.

Running a business can be harder than expected, particularly when you are unsure what your numbers are telling you.

You may be busy, bringing in revenue and paying your bills, but is your business paying you properly and regularly? Do you feel overwhelmed when you think about your finances? Have you ever avoided asking a question because you felt you should already know the answer?

You are not alone.

Financial uncertainty can create a revolving cycle for small business owners. Not understanding the finances can lead to feeling overwhelmed or embarrassed, which can make it harder to ask questions. This can lead to avoiding financial information and making important business decisions without the full picture.

This Masterclass

In this free, one-hour masterclass, Liz Fleming from The Grants Club and Susan Davies from GAP Advisors will explore what business owners need to understand about the financial side of running a business.

Together, we will discuss:

  • what business success really looks like

  • why being busy or earning revenue does not always mean a business is financially successful

  • whether your business is paying you properly

  • why so many business owners feel overwhelmed by their finances

  • why people avoid asking financial questions

  • what financial information you need to understand

  • what questions you need to ask your accountant or bookkeeper

  • why you still have financial responsibilities as the business owner
