This workshop will be targeted to experienced doctors who:

Currently see doctors/medical students as patients, or
Wish to explore seeing doctor-patients into the future, or
Have an interest in doctors’ health

It will provide an opportunity to network with colleagues who see doctor-patients, as well receive support and resources from the Doctors' Health SA team.

A number of experts will present the training and it is hosted by Doctors' Health SA's Medical Director, Dr Roger Sexton.

Learning Outcomes include:

Improved understanding of contributors to doctors’ ill health
Greater awareness of hazards of modern junior doctor workplaces
Overview of common mental health presentations in students and doctors
Understanding the contributors to the unsatisfactory / difficult doctor-doctor consultation.
Knowledge of how to assess the doctor with early cognitive decline
Awareness of medicolegal aspects of treating doctors and notification
Understanding of a useful framework for identifying the unsustainable doctor
Gaining ideas on how doctors stay well
