You may know one, you may live with one, you may be one, you may be one in the future - the menopausal woman. Come learn about and experience her vitality, zest and power!
Exploring six women’s stories of menarche, birth, miscarriage, early mothering, sex, peri menopause, post menopause, death, and life. Rich and intimate in offering and showing our stories matter if we are to question our cultural response to our rites of passage as women and how we land in our power as aging women.

We warmly invite you to a documentary screening at the Red Door Studio in Heidelberg West on 11 May. This event includes soup, fire, tea and cake, and a labyrinth walk.
- Arrive from 4:30pm to experience a quiet reflective walk through a labyrinth created by our dear friend Meah Velik-Lord as a moving, contemplative meditation.
- Enjoy a cup of soup around the outside fire before the film
- Documentary screening from 5:30pm, followed by cake and tea
Free entry, however donations are welcome, going directly to Djirra—an Aboriginal community led organisation supporting First Nations women experiencing violence and discrimination. Djirra is culturally safe and promotes strength and resilience alongside practical help. For more information, visit djirra.org.au.
Booking is essential, as spaces and seating are limited. There will be some chairs available and the rest will be cushions on the floor.
