Dog Smart Kids
Description
DOG SMART KIDS
Staying Safe Around Dogs
An interactive school holiday workshop for children and their parent or caregiver.
Children meet dogs every day—at home, at the park, at friends’ houses, and out in the community. Understanding what dogs are trying to tell us is an important life skill that can help children make safer choices and build confidence around dogs.
Join Renee from Neewood Pups for an engaging, workshop where children will learn:
🐾 How to recognise common dog body language
🐾 When a dog might need space
🐾 How to make safer choices around familiar and unfamiliar dogs
🐾 What to do in a range of everyday situations
Using interactive activities, discussion and real-life scenarios, children will develop practical skills they can use for years to come.
