Dolls & Guys is a night of big songs, bold choices and gloriously unconventional casting, as performers take on roles they’d never normally get the chance to play.

Expect familiar songs turned on their head, surprising interpretations, powerhouse vocals, comedy, heart and plenty of moments that make you hear a favourite number in a completely new way.

Join John Milligan at the piano and a fabulous lineup of performers as we throw the traditional casting brief out the window for one night.

Swap the gender. Ignore the type. Reimagine the character.

We want to hear from you!

Choose a song from a role you wouldn’t traditionally be cast to play.

That could mean crossing gender, age, character type, vocal stereotype or simply taking on a role you’ve always loved but would never normally get the chance to perform.

The goal isn’t parody. We want to see what happens when great performers get to approach great material without being limited by traditional casting expectations.
