Donate to Antipodes Theatre Company
Event description
Help support Antipodes Theatre Company as we embark on our biggest year yet.
We are committed to producing work by and for Australian artists, work that amplifies marginalised voices and engages a wide range of audiences. Nearly half of our budget goes toward paying the artists we work with, so your donation goes directly toward supporting those who have been some of the hardest hit by this pandemic. We also have several programs dedicated to developing new work by Australian artists, and a fellowship program that supports producers, directors, musical directors and designers who are womxn, IBPOC, CALD, trans, non-binary or people with disability. We want to make sure our stages reflect the rich and eclectic world around us.
As a donor, you'll receive updates on all our programming as well as special offers and invitations to events and readings not open to the public. Your support allows us to bring never before seen experiences to Melbourne audiences (and hopefully beyond) while fostering the next generation of theatre Australian artists. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Antipodes family.
Fresh off a return season of our highly lauded and Green Room-nominated inaugural production of Ghost Quartet, 2022 was packed with mainstage productions (And She Would Stand Like This and Passing Strange), concerts (Bowie Ball), development workshops (our third annual Winter Lab and an industry presentation of a new musical adaptation of I Can Jump Puddles), support programs for emerging artists, and more.
