This 4 hour workshop is built off MIEACT’s DoNOHarm framework (c) and builds on the skills of individuals with a lived experience and their support network to use inclusive language and minimise referred trauma. In this session you will explore personal and professional boundaries to share and hear stories safely. This session is delivered by a qualified facilitator in partnership with a lived experience Educator.

Terri is a fantastic and passionate presenter, she trains DNH and is very knowledgeable and experienced in the mental health and community sectors. She has a lived experience of anxiety, bipolar disorder and eating disorders. She was the Chair at ACT Mental Health Consumer Network and is a current board member with MIEACT.

Deahnne is also a very experienced presenter with knowledge and experience in the mental health and community sectors. Her story includes sporting/athlete story, hospitalisation due to alcohol at a young age- peer pressure, problems at school, and abuse. She has a lived experience of anxiety, chronic health conditions, borderline personality disorder, depression and PTSD. Deahnne represented Australia in the Paralympics, winning multiple medals.
