    NEW & UPDATED!

Reboot your fundraising retention comms! Our popular Donor-Centred Language training has been overhauled and reworked to incorporate evidence-based philanthropic psychology. Learn how to apply phil psych to your impact reports, newsletters and other fundraising communications. This session covers not only tried and tested direct response and persuasive copywriting techniques but also how to use donor psychology, identity and wellbeing to make your donors feel AWESOME about giving to your cause and organisation. This is VITAL if you want to retain your donors and maximise lifetime value. We will cover:

    • My top tips on how to write compelling copy that will make donors feel good and drive them to give - including heart-wrenching storytelling, how to put the donor into the beneficiary's shoes and more.
    • Using the latest evidence-based research in donor psychology and wellbeing to not only be donor-centric but also beneficiary-centric - if you're grappling with saviourism issues within your fundraising comms, this is a game changer.
    • Donor-centred phrase lists, jargon busting cheatsheets and the impact reporting formula - steal and adapt for your donors. Get rid of mind-numbing corporate speak and instead write sparkling copy that tells your donors what they want to know.
    • Checklist of common mistakes to avoid killing your donor relationships.
    • Lots of real-world examples - applying principles across all donor communications including newsletters, impact reports, nurture emails and donor care admin.

This session is great not only for people who have to write donor communications but also for charity staff who need to understand the principles of fundraising copywriting - which is NOT the same as journalism, public relations or academic writing.
