Dorcas ACTS is a ministry of the Aspley Uniting Church, a parish of the Uniting Church of Qld Synod.
Dorcas ACTS is the registered business name of the charity Aspley Caring Through Service (ACTS). Dorcas ACTS:
- provides rapid compassionate financial support to individuals in times of natural disasters and crisis
- is a 100% volunteer-run organisation with 100% of donations going directly to those in crisis
- works with community and church leaders to identify those in crisis who need immediate financial help
- Crisis includes natural disasters such as fire, drought, and flood, and also personal crises such as domestic violence, hunger, and elder abuse
Dorcas ACTS, is a Christian mission of the congregation of the Aspley Uniting Church Qld. Dorcas is a person named in the Book of ACTS who performed charitable activities in her community.
