Join us for a relaxed afternoon of photography, creativity and connection at UQ!
Double Take is a welcoming event, including exhibition and workshop experience. This event is for everyone who wants to share their work, try something hands-on and meet others who enjoy photography and art.

About the Cyanotype Workshop
Cyanotype is one of the earliest traditional photographic printing processes, recognised for its distinctive deep-blue color.
Today, cyanotype has developed into a popular form of creative art-making. It is playful, easy to explore and does not require any professional photography or art experience.
Using photographs, flowers, leaves and other decorative materials, everyone can create a unique blue-toned artwork. It is a simple and enjoyable DIY technique that can also bring new texture and character to your photography.
Event schedule
2:30–3:00 pm: Arrival, welcome and free exhibition viewing
3:00–4:00 pm: Cyanotype photo DIY workshop — let’s get hands-on!
4:00–4:30 pm: Social time and photo exchange
What should you bring?
Invite your friends and come together
Bring your camera if you have one
Prepare digital photos you would like to share or create with
Bring any materials you would like to use for cyanotype printing, such as flowers, leaves or small decoration
Most importantly, bring your curiosity and creativity—no photography experience is required!
