Travel instructions

Getting to The Lab Please use public transport if you can: The Lab is a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross Station and 15 mins Town Hall Station; or you can catch one of the following buses 311, 324, 325, 389, 504, 506 Or you could ride your bike? There is plenty of bike storage on William Street, or if you would prefer to store your bike inside during the event let our Event Host know and they will show you another option. If you do need to drive, paid street parking is available for $6.60 per hour, or $2.50 after 6pm. Palmer Street or Barnett Lane behind the building, often have spots. There is also a Wilson Parking garage at 70 Riley Street.

Entry instructions

Getting to Level 3 You can take the stairs, or the lift to Level 3. To take the stairs, enter via the fire door to the left of the lift and go up to Level 3, where you will find The Sydney StoryLab on your right. There is no fire door on Level 3, so you will not get locked in the stairwell. If you would like to use the lift, use the buttons on the William St side.

After entry instructions

When you arrive on Level 3, turn left and walk all of the way around the lift well to find the entrance to The Sydney StoryLab. Call Kirrily on 0413 30 80 35 if you have any issues.

The venue also has an accessible non-gendered bathroom.

Accessibility

You can take a lift from the William Street or the Barnett Lane entrances to the building but you will need a pass to access it. Someone will be at the William Street entrance for 15 minutes before the event and 30 minutes afterwards. Please give us a call on 0413 30 80 35 or email us at admin@dovetailsocialenterprises.com.au at least 48 hours before the event if you would prefer to use the Barnett Lane entrance. The venue also has an accessible non-gendered bathroom, if you would like to use it.
