💠“Learn Through Play”. A fun event for babies and their siblings to explore, and an opportunity for parents/carers to connect with other families.

Down Syndrome NSW warmly invites parents and carers of babies aged 0–2 years to our upcoming New Babies Day – a relaxed and welcoming event designed to connect, support and celebrate our newest community members.

This special gathering is a wonderful opportunity for families to meet others who are on a similar journey, share experiences, and build connections that can last a lifetime. Our team will be there to offer support, answer questions, and provide helpful resources in a caring, informal setting.

To help make the day enjoyable for everyone, there will be supervised activities for siblings, allowing parents and carers to relax and engage in conversation. Light refreshments will be provided.

We also warmly welcome prenatal families who are expecting a baby with Down syndrome and would like to meet others and learn more about the support available.

This event is FREE for Down Syndrome NSW Members.

Book in now for this interactive and informal event which includes lunch.

Membership is FREE. Sign up here: Become a Member – Down Syndrome NSW

We have lots of member only events throughout the year as well as discounts to our conferences, workshops and training and other great member benefits soon to be announced!

Down Syndrome NSW is the peak body for Down syndrome. We work with pride to support people with Down syndrome to reach their full potential. Your support at our events makes our work possible. Where we can, we provide events for free or at cost recovery only. We greatly appreciate your support.

This workshop is funded through the ILC Individual Capacity Building Grant, and we acknowledge the Department of Social Services for their support and commitment.

We kindly ask that each person attending register for their free ticket
