Travel instructions

Car: Ponsonby is easily accessed from the motorways into central Auckland. From the Northern Motorway take the Shelly Beach Rd or Fanshawe St exits; from the Southern Motorway take the Nelson St exit; from the North Western Motorway take the Newton Rd exit. Bus: The green InnerLink bus stops right outside Ponsonby Central. The easiest way to get around the inner city, the InnerLink departs from Britomart and Newmarket every 15 minutes. There are other routes from Westmere, Sandringham and the Shore. Uber: Please don't drink and drive.

Entry instructions

Ponsonby Central is on the corner of Richmond and Ponsonby Roads. Our main entrance is on Ponsonby Road, but you can also enter by The Lane which cuts between Richmond Road and Brown St. The Sapphire Room is located upstairs in Ponsonby Central. You will find the stairs to the Sapphire Room in the lane opposite Dante’s Pizzeria.

Accessible parking

Street parking. Ponsonby Central also has an underground car park with over 80 spaces, entrance on Brown Street. It is free for the first 30 minutes.

Wheelchair access

There is a lift in the adjacent building and the lift is accessible from the basement car park and the second laneway at Ponsonby Central, Richmond Road level.
