Dr Laura Clarke - Conservative vs Surgical managment of Achilles ruptures and Achilles Tendinopathy

Dr Laura Clarke (PhD) will be talking to us about conservatvie vs surgical managment of achilles ruptures and recent advances in the exercise managment of achilles tendinopathy. Laura is the Director of Allied Health for Joint Vision Orthopaedic Group, Wollongong an has over 20 years’ experience as a Sport and Exercise Physiotherapist; working extensively domestically and internationally in high performance sport with swimming, rugby 7s, water polo, soccer, AFL and Paralympic sports. In 2008 she held the coveted position of post graduate scholar at the Australian Institute of Sport. Laura completed a PhD in 2020 on the risk factors for shoulder injury in Australian Rules football and is also a clinical educator in anatomy at the University of Wollongong and the University of Western Sydney.
