Event description

Drama expert panel - creating a company

Hear from drama industry experts about creating and growing a theatre company. To support teachers in their teaching of the new Stage 1 & 2 Drama subject outlines our three panellists will discuss the ideation, realisation, and development of a thriving company.

How do you create a thriving company?

Join our three expert theatre-makers in conversation during this 90-minute online panel and listen to them discuss their real-world experiences of setting up a performance company. How does an individual or group of like-minded artists come together around a shared idea and build it into a cohesive and thriving organisation?

Our panellists will discuss how they articulate a vision, find a structure, create their work, and reach an audience. The event will focus on the content of the new Stage 1 and Stage 2 Drama subject outlines. It will support teachers in their understanding of what is required to successfully transform raw creative inspiration into a tangible, viable and hypothetically tourable reality.

Following the discussion, the panellists will address your questions.
