Drawing and Watercolour Workshop in Edible Garden
Event description
Transition 3081 is running a series of 10 Sustainable Living Workshops in 2019 with support from a 2018/2019 Banyule Environmental Sustainability Grant. This is the 8th workshop in this series. Â
You don't need any drawing experience as the emphasis of the workshop is to enjoy the garden surroundings - have a go while experimenting with the materials provided. This is an opportunity for anyone to draw together interacting with the garden. You will be given basic drawing skills that will make beginning easy. An explanation of colour washes will help you to complete your picture (s). Suitable for adults and kids over 12.Â
Murundaka Cohousing Community garden was chosen as a place to draw inspiration from as we contemplate how beautiful and life sustaining food plants are. From the simplest of leaves to the tallest trees we will closely scrutinize plants seeing them in a completely different way. Â
Felicity is a contemporary visual artist who works her Banyule studio. Felicity has facilitated many community art projects, has held numerous exhibitions, participated in artist residencies and is a lecturer in drawing at the VCA.  www.felicitygordon.com
