Drawing for Laser Cutting - Lightburn for Beginners

Learn the basics of 2D vector drawing in Lightburn for Laser Cutting in a friendly group environment. A great next step after one of our Laser cutting inductions, this beginners workshop will show you the powerful Lightburn laser cutting software, and a variety of activities and design techniques. All materials are included, and you'll be getting hands on with both Lightburn, and our Thunder Laser Nova35 or Trotec Q500. Some techniques and activities include:

• 2D vector drawing
• Image optimisation for engraving
• Colour coding with material parameters
• Creating name tags
• Box generators
• Boolean operations
• Tracing function
• Custom design elements

• We recommend completing a Laser Cutting induction before this workshop commences

• Enclosed shoes must be worn at all times
