Drawing on the Brain with Meg Walch

Strengthen mental flexibility and creative problem solving through drawing.

Back by popular demand, this will be an intensive 3 hour studio work-out using drawing as a tool alongside exercises engineered to strengthen mental flexibility and creative problem-solving.

The workshop will provide you with a bunch of creative hacks to implement in your daily life supported by studies in Neuroscience.

It is open to all levels of expertise and supplements gaps in the current education system.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Megan Walch is an established artist and educator with 25 years of professional experience. She has taught at the University of Tasmania, the Victorian College of the Arts, the 92nd St. Y, (New York), The San Francisco Art Institute, the Australian National University’s School of art and Monash University.

Megan is a Samstag Scholar, an alumnus of the San Francisco Art Institute and the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture. She holds a studio-based doctorate from the School of Creative Arts, UTAS.

Megan’s painting and drawing practice blends figuration and abstraction supported by her extensive cross-cultural research and life experience.
