Drawing the Future Exhibition Opening
Event description
Join us to celebrate the opening of Drawing the Future - an exhibition of artworks by primary school students from across the Snowy Monaro.
Through drawing, children were invited to imagine their future worlds: who they’ll be, what they’ll do, and where they’ll live. The result is a joyful and thought-provoking collection of illustrations featuring everything from farmers and astronauts to Olympians, bakers, vets, singers, and entirely imagined creatures and places. Local PhD student and teacher Han Worsley has curated these artworks, in partnership with the University of Canberra.
The exhibition opening will feature:
A panel of featured student artists
A short curator talk by Han
Light canapés and non-alcoholic drinks
This event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are appreciated but not essential.
Who should come?
This event is perfect for families, schools, arts and education supporters, and anyone who wants to hear directly from young regional voices.
What if I can’t make it?
The exhibition will be open to the public from 28 November through January 2026, during Raglan Gallery hours (Wednesday -Sunday, 10.30am–3.30pm).
