Dream Big - Amplify Our People

Dream Big Invites you to join us in celebrating our people and projects in 2024. Events Cinema is the perfect place to screen our local talent and celebrate them on the big screen.

We have been working with a broad range of actors to develop their talents and understanding in front fo the camera. The sCene Work - Acting for screen provides workshops, one on one coaching and online gatherings to work towards filming a short scene to be filmed with local crew. It provides participants with an understanding of what it takes to be an actor and for crew to enhance their skills shooting a diverse range of scenes. We have 8 scenes to celebrate with 17 participants.

It is also an opportunity to celebrate the Elevate Project being launched in both Hastings and Napier and hear about the next steps in the journey. We have also achieved so much with local projects that we want to share what is coming and explore how we can build together a screen industry in our region.

All tickets costs will go towards covering venue hire and supporting future projects.
