Dream Weaver workshop with Emma
Event description
Hello! My name is Emma, and I’ll be guiding you through the Dream Weaver workshop.
I’ve always been fascinated by Native American traditions, and over the past ten years, creating dreamcatchers has brought me so much joy. Lately, it’s become a form of therapy—quieting the mind and encouraging mindful creativity.
In this workshop, I’ll teach you a simple weaving technique that’s easy to learn. From there, we’ll explore how to set positive intentions, making your dreamcatcher more than just a decorative piece. You’ll choose your own colours, feathers, beads, and personal touches to create a unique work of art.
All materials will be provided, including 27cm hoops, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own special items to incorporate. Please note: we’ll be using hot glue guns—I'll be there to assist with this if needed.
Join us at Nightshade Noir on Saturday May 17th or Sunday May 18th for an experience of intention setting and dream weaving, and leave with a meaningful piece that’s truly your own.
