Dreamwork Workshop for Creative Arts Therapists
Event description
This August, Seedpod Creative Arts Studio is offering a small pilot professional development workshop exploring dreams through arts-based practice, alongside phenomenological, transpersonal and embodied approaches.
This workshop is especially designed for Creative Arts Therapists, offering a space to explore how dreamwork can enrich your practice and support symbolic expression, self-inquiry and creative insight.
Together, we will engage in a series of experiential processes, including image-making, movement, sensory-based art responses, creative reflection and peer exploration. This workshop will focus on working with dreams in a process-oriented and emergent way, allowing meaning to unfold slowly through artmaking, embodied understanding and shared inquiry.
Practices may include:
Symbolic image-making
Exploration of universal dream patterns
Embodied responses to dream material
Sensory-based artmaking (“sensory mapping”)
Reflective writing and gentle movement
Peer dream witnessing and non-interpretive dialogue
This is the first time I am offering this workshop in a professional development context. This afternoon will be held in the spirit of exploration and offered as a soft invitation to help shape what this offering might become in the future.
