Dress for Success Western Sydney New Volunteer Information Session

Every year Dress for Success NSW & ACT supports more than 3,000 women into employment across New South Wales. Our signature Styling service and suite of Career Support offerings aim to help women overcome bias and discrimination when entering or re-entering the workforce – at no cost to the women needing the services. Our services are delivered by hundreds of volunteers who make a real difference to the lives of women seeking employment.

Due to the inherent nature of the Dress for Success styling duties it is necessary, that the volunteer roles be filled by females only.

Attendance at one of our New Volunteer Information Sessions is a prerequisite to becoming a registered Volunteer with us.

We are currently recruiting for the following shift availabilities. We prefer a commitment of one shift per month.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays:

-9.45am - 1.15pm 

The information session will cover the following topics:

• Who we are, what we do
• Our clients and stakeholders
• The volunteering roles and opportunities available
• What to expect as a Volunteer with Dress for Success Western Sydney
• Tour of premises including our client styling and volunteer sorting areas

Sessions will be held at our Penrith showroom each Wednesday from 1.00pm-2.00pm.

The next session will be held on Wednesday 19 February 2025.
