Drop-in Postcard Writing

Postcard-to-prisoner initiatives are programs designed to relieve some of the isolation of incarcerated people. Select and send a postcard to a person in prison, offering a moment of joy, hope, comfort or solidarity.

All ages welcome.

This is a free, drop-in event. While bookings are not required, we encourage you to register your interest so we can prepare materials and ensure a comfortable experience for all participants.

Council staff may take photos and or videos at this event. We might use those images in our publications, on website or social media or other communications. Please tell a staff member on the day if you don't want your image used.
